A formal retreat with a micro-denure chenille fabric in an ottoman weave pattern creates a subtle linear grain that accentuates the gentle curving of the kidney-shaped sofa. The exposed wood frame is finished in Golden Shimmer metallic paint that captures the curving lines of the sofa, small eyelet detail in the back and flows to a sleek tapered leg detail. The tight back, tufted seat, and green velvet and satin pillows further elevate the romance and timeliness of a classic design with a hint of today's trending color influence. One of the velvets is an embossed botanical pattern to create an additional dimension. The chair shares the elegance of the exposed wood frame of the sofa in a chair- scaled version. Acrylic posts frame the headboard with individual upholstered wedge panels in the themed center-radiating pattern. Detailed ringed carved caps and ferrules connect the acrylic post to the Golden Shimmer posts creating a columned detail framing the headboard. The elongated oval is a Matte Pearl finish with rounded end panels that repeat the shape of the end of bed bench. The shape and inclusive gallery on each end resemble a cufflink securing a French cuff. The hourglass shaped accent table has a carved scalloped detail around the column of the table and is topped with a Perlino Blanco stone surface for added durability. A paired down version of the sofa, the chaise has a graceful arched back that is trimmed in exposed wood painted in Golden Shimmer metallic paint. The body is a soft cream performance velvet and accented by sage satin and metallic sheen pillows. When designing this collection, the designer started with a mirrored drawer front but as he rendered the images he requested a warm reflection mirror instead of the standard silver backed mirror. Together we determined that antique mirror conflicted with the contemporary design intent. Rather than compromise the warmth or the modern direction, we worked with the factory to develop a new application by cutting a thin V-groove in the back of the glass, and back-painting the grooved glass in Golden Shimmer accomplished both the warmth and the modernity we desired. Thus, using a familiar material in a new application created this exclusive and rich material. The dresser has eight radiating soft-close drawers, the smaller nightstand has two drawers, and the larger nightstand a single drawer and open storage space. The frame is painted in Matte Pearl with a pinstripe silkscreen outlining the tops and capped feet with a Bronze Gold ferrule. Features: Case in Matte Pearl. Fully upholstered dining chair with a low profile arm that sculpturally follows the seat with a small scoop into the rounded back. The upholstery is a cream and gold cleanable performance textural weave that compliments the dining table apron carved detail. Legs are finished in Matte Pearl with painted Golden shimmer ferrules. A tall wing chair with wood trimmed roll arms and vertically channeled in-back upholstered in a pin-dot cream cleanable performance fabric. The wing chair was originally created to shelter the occupant from drafty rooms and embrace the warmth emanating from a hearth. Today, a tall wing chair is often the soft height in a room to elevate the plain of sight and still serves as the place of honor and sanctuary in a room.
