    Lalique Chene Wall Sconce

Nature stays an inexhaustible source of inspiration for LALIQUE. For the "Art of Glass" exhibition held in 1951 at the Pavilion Marsan in the “Musée des Arts Décoratifs” in Paris, Marc Lalique created the “Chêne" table featuring the crystal oak leaf motif, created in contrasting satin-finished and clear crystal. This wall sconce is part of the “Chêne” range which includes a chandelier and a light ramp. Embodying the core values of the brand: luxury, excellence and creativity, the “Chêne” range is a subtle elixir between know-how and daring, the result of precise artisanal craftsmanship. Lalique and Delisle present Ginkgo, a lighting collection combining the haute couture know-how of the master of crystal with the master of bronze art. This alliance revives a great accord between the two houses, who have already met in the past. This new project is inspired by a chandelier from the 1930s; which was designed for the hotel Intercontinental and pulled out of the archives of Delisle. The collection is inspired by the timeless beauty of Ginkgo Biloba, an Eastern sacred tree a symbol of longevity, hope and prosperity. It consists of chandeliers, ceiling lamps and wall sconces, all featuring pure clean geometric forms in an Art- Deco spirit. Lalique Perles 1 Tier Chandelier

To design the Perles chandeliers, Pierre-Yves Rochon was inspired by eponymous luminaires created by René Lalique in the 1930s and by the graphic and symbolic power of the candle. In all cultures and religions, the candle is meaningful, synonymous with knowledge and the quest for truth. Carved with stripes and cabochons with the satin finish emblematic of Lalique, the crowns of light are adorned with slender crystal candles, arranged in a rhythmic rigor. Metal sublimates the purity and brilliance of crystal. Highlighted by LED technology, these chandeliers with neoclassical accents resonate with a Grand Siècle flair and bring a touch of French elegance to interior design. Designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, the Causeuses vanity is a jewel of interior design. A beautiful result of the encounter of many exceptional savoir-faire, it combines aesthetics and functionality. Metal and marble sublimate the purity and brilliance of crystal. The Causeuses motif celebrates the woman, a major source of inspiration of LALIQUE since its origins. An ode to feminine beauty, LALIQUE’s craft plays with satin-finished crystal to evoke the velvety texture of skin. The voluptuous curves of these sensual bathers contrast with the graphic precision of the crystal waves of the Soudan motif, designed by René Lalique in 1934. The balance of the composition stems from the purity of its geometric lines and the strength of its systematic and dynamic movement. Pierre-Yves Rochon: “The Causeuses vanity was born from the quest for the most beautiful aesthetic effect, the search for perfect proportions and the attention to every detail. Marked by the precision and the elegance of metal, the designs give crystal the freedom to blend in interior architecture and furniture design in a new manner.” Clear crystal Top: White marble Bright nickel Exterior: bright nickel and Névé white marble top.
