- Reactive glaze in black and white pools and breaks across the stoneware body of this urn, so the two tones meet differently on every piece that comes out of the kiln.
- The clay is a secondary clay, carrying plant husk, seed and mineral traces that shift the underlying color from red to brown, and small firing marks, pin holes or glaze runs remain as a record of how it was made.
- On a mantel, a dining sideboard or a bookshelf, it reads as a quiet sculptural form, with or without branches in it.
- Two sizes are offered, 8 inches in diameter by 9 inches high and a taller 8.5 by 13 inches, so the two can be grouped together or used separately.

Delivery & returns

A shipping estimate describes dispatch timing. Transit time is additional.
Standard delivery: $99 for most items; free for eligible U.S. orders of $1,500 or more, excluding Alaska and Hawaii. Delivery is to the nearest dry area, without unboxing or stairs. Estimated transit: 7–10 business days.
White Glove: $279 per delivery, subject to location and availability. Includes placement, assembly if needed, removal of large packaging and up to one flight of stairs. Estimated transit: 7–14 business days. Remote areas and additional deliveries may cost more.
Eligible return requests must be received within 7 days of delivery or pickup. Original condition and packaging are required; a 35% restocking fee plus outbound and return shipping charges applies. Non-stock and custom orders, floor samples and final-sale items are not returnable.
Open-box sales are final and follow general shipping procedures. Floor-sample delivery has separate rates: $250 standard or $350 White Glove within California; outside California, service may be available from $350 standard or $450 White Glove. Confirm a quote before ordering.
